Over time pipes corrode creating a build up that greatly effects the pipes flow capacity as well as the quality of water.
This corrosion will result in more than just a slower flow it will cause leaks and bad tasting water. Unfortunately these old corroded pipes allow copper and lead to be absorbed into the body by either drinking, cooking, or bathing. According to the U.S. Department Of Health And Human Services lead is the number one environmental threat to childrens health. Children are being exposed to this hazard through the consumption of water from old corroded piping systems.
Pipe lining provides a protective barrier that stops the leaching of these harmful toxins. Pipe lining is a smart, safe, and affordable solution to aging pipes. Pipe lining will effectively and safely extend the life of older systems, however even newer pipes have their troubles too, the day pipes are installed and water starts to run through, it starts the corrosion process. To be sure your pipes are safe no matter how old or new contact MR ROOTER PLUMBING 602-635-3360 for a complimentary video inspection of your pipes……..mention you heard about this from our blog and receive $50 off any pipe relining.

Creaking or cracking sounds are usually caused by the expansion and contraction of the water pipe itself. When hot water runs through a pipe, it heats the pipe, causing it to expand a bit . Once the water stops flowing, the pipe cools and the metal contracts, resulting in the creaking or cracking sound. The easiest way to fix this is to put some insulation around the pipe, or if the pipe is running through a tight fitting hole in the wood framing, cut a notch in the framing so the pipe can expand and then contract without that creaking sound.
Pipes can make noises for a variety of reasons and aren’t always cause for concern but to be sure and save your self headache and money later contact us at 602-635-3360 Mr Rooter Plumbing for a free inspection

Do not divert roof drains or basement sump pumps into septic systems. You want to drain as little water into them as possible.
Reduce or avoid altogether the use of your garbage disposal
The toilet is not a garbage can
Check for leaky faucets and running toilets
Consider installing low flow or high efficiency toilets.
Make sure you choose the right load size when doing laundry. Washing a small load on the large load setting wastes water. HE washers are a huge help in eliminating extra water usage.
Spread out laundry use. Instead of doing all your laundry on one day, spread it out to allow time for your septic tank to recover.

We like to start each job on the right foot, more specifically, on the right covered foot. It’s a myth that a plumbing repair begins the moment a wrench meets a fitting, or a rooter goes down a pipe. Truth be told, a plumbing job begins the moment we get your call. We feel that even the way we park our vans shows how good of a job we’ll do. And, more importantly, how attentive we are to our clients’ needs.
Now courtesy may not be the first thing you think of when it comes to plumbing. But for us, it’s one of the most important tools we carry. Certainly, courteous behavior won’t actually stop a pipe from leaking, or unclog a drain. Then again, plumbing is about much more than just pipes and drains. It’s about making sure our clients fully understand the job that will be done. It’s about treating all parts of the home, not just our work area, with the respect and consideration they deserve. Most importantly, plumbing is about making our clients feel they’ve hired the right plumber the moment we set foot in their homes. After taking care to cover that foot, of course.
